Paper in Nature Communications!

Ryan Bracewell's tour de force study showing a coupling between neo-sex chromosome evolution and incipient speciation in bark beetles has been published in Nature Communications!

Over 1,000 crosses, several years of field work, extensive whole genome & RAD sequencing, reproductive and phermonal phenotypes, functional characterizing of sex-specific transcriptomes -- this was a side project during Ryan's dissertation. Well done.
